Good Morning Boys 😊

Let's recall what we did in the first blog
  • Why did God create Eve.
  • How did God create Eve.
  • The story of Irene and Glen
  • The punch line that    WE FUNCTION BETTER WITH THE LOVE AND SUPPORT OF ANOTHER
Our reflection on the story of creation of why God created Eve can be confirmed from the Bible's book of Genesis when God says 
" It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion who will help him."

Now the question:  When can I have a permanent companion like Adam had Eve?

In order to have a permanent companion we need to 
  • get married or in other words to receive the Sacrament of Matrimony.
  • a boy needs to be 21 years old and a girl 18 years. This fact you all know is by the law of the Government and also the Church.
Why are we studying this chapter so early in life ? Most of you are just 11 0r maybe 12 years old . So what's the hurry you may be asking yourself. The reason is that you need a lot of time for preparing yourself and developing the correct perspective and attitude .

Reflection : What is the most important thing in marriage?

Yes the most important thing in marriage is LOVE which is a two way process.
St Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians says 👇

 Think :  Why is LOVE so important in a marriage ?

 Reason: Marriage is for life. Once a boy marries a girl they remain married till the death of one of the two persons. We cannot marry again and again.

 Reflection : What are the URGENT things I need to learn about from NOW itself ? These are:-
  • Respect for people 
  • attitude of listening to others
  • spirit of dialogue ( communicate well with others to clear misunderstandings )
  • ready  to forgive and seek forgiveness
  • never raising a hand to slap or hit a girl or a woman .
Yes boys these are some of the things we need to prepare ourselves for our adulthood.
